Indianapolis Shooting Leaves 1 Dead, 5 Injured: Report

The shooting occurred around 3:20 a.m. Sunday at a birthday party held at an event center in northwest Indianapolis.

INDIANAPOLIS, IN — A man was killed, and five people were injured at a shooting in northwest Indianapolis early Sunday, according to a report from WTHR TV.

The shooting occurred during a birthday party around 3:20 a.m. at an event center on 38th Street near Lafayette Road. Police identified Belansky Fanord, 24, as the man who was killed, according to the report.

Police said they found Fanord and two others who suffered non-life-threatening injuries at the event center. Three other people drove themselves to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
