Here are the top three stories in Indianapolis today:
- Indianapolis residents are now eligible for federal broadband assistance, according to an announcement on Friday from AT&T and Cricket Wireless. Residents can receive discounted internet service through the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP), if approved by the federal governmentβs National Verifier. Enrollment for the program is now open and only available through the internet services of AT&T and Cricket Wireless. (Fox 59)
- On Friday, Bon Jovi announced their upcoming spring tour will be stopping in Indy. The rock band will be performing at Gainbridge Fieldhouse on April 19. Tickets will be available at 10 a.m. on Jan. 21. (WISHTV.com)
- A murder-suicide on Indianapolis' east side has left two people dead. Police visited the 6100 block of Nelson Place on Friday morning for a welfare check and found two people dead with gunshot wounds inside the residence. Police are investigating and believe it was a domestic-related incident that occurred within the last day or two. (Fox 59)
