🌱 Indy Firefighter Dies + Eat Surreal + 38 Pounds Of Pot Found

  1. A service will be held tonight for an Indianapolis firefighter who died from cancer caused by exposure at Ground Zero in New York on Sep. 11, 2001. Battalion Chief Mark Rapp, a retired instructor with the Indianapolis Fire Dept., died Friday, Mar. 4, at the age of 66. The service is planned for 7:00 p.m. at Crown Hill Funeral Home, and visitation is at the same location β€” both are open to the public. (WIBC - Indianapolis News & Politics)
  2. Those who have to follow a dairy-free, nut-free, or gluten-free diet should check out Eat Surreal. The woman-owned business based out of Indianapolis specializes in small-batch spreads and salads made from whole-food ingredients.   3. While serving a search warrant, Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department teams discovered 38 pounds of pot and 1,300 bags of THC-infused cereal. The Violence Reduction Team and a Violent Crime Task Force seized three handguns, 38 pounds of marijuana, 27 pounds of THC candies, 1,354 grams of THC wax, 260 vape cartridges, and 1,300 packages of THC-infused cereal, according to a tweet by the district. Information regarding the location and date of the search warrant has not been disclosed to avoid compromising the ongoing case. (FOX 59 Indianapolis)
