Here are the top three stories in Indianapolis today:
- Crews are trying to locate an Indianapolis man after he fell through shelf ice at Indiana Dunes National Park late Monday. 22-year-old Bryce Dunfee was one of five people who entered onto shelf ice along the shoreline when it began to crack. At the time the group was out on the unstable ice, the waves were about three to four feet, which prevented the rest of the group from being able to reach Dunfee after he fell. (WRTV)
- One person was killed in a double shooting on Tuesday afternoon in Indyβs near northeast side. Officers from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department were called to the scene in the 3300 block of North Keystone Avenue just after noon and found a victim in stable condition with injuries consistent with a gunshot wound. A second victim, who was in critical condition and has since died, was also located in the 2100 block of East 34th Street with injuries consistent with a gunshot wound. (Fox59)
- Mooresville-based Creative Works will be moving its operations to Indianapolis in May. The company, which designs, manufactures, and installs themes, props, and attractions for the amusement industry, plans to invest $7 million to relocate to the Park Fletcher industrial complex on the cityβs southwest side. The company says the move will bring with it more than 70 jobs and will create up to 30 more by the end of the year. (WISH-TV)
