Here are the top three stories today in Indianapolis:
- According to a new survey, Indy neighbors are said to be the friendliest β and some of the most annoying. In a survey conducted by HomeAdvisor, 2,200 people in the 25 biggest cities in America were asked about their neighbors. Results showed Indianapolis coming in at No. 1 for people being the most likely to know their neighbors and No. 3 (tied with Philadelphia) for being the most annoying neighbors. (Eyewitness News (WEHT/WTVW))
- At least one person was injured on an IndyGo Red Line bus after the bus hit a safety barrier. On Friday morning, the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department responded to a call at College Avenue and Kessler Boulevard E. Dr. The bus struck the barrier hard enough to shatter the windshield, however no additional information regarding the cause of the crash has been released. (WISHTV.com)
- Two apartment complexes in Indianapolis have had their water shut off due to unpaid bills. On Thursday, water was shut off at both Berkley Commons apartment complex, on Madison Avenue, and Capital Place Apartments, on Continental Court after the property management company failed to pay the bill. The Marion County Public Health Department is giving Aloft Management 24 hours to get water service restored β if it's not restored within that timeframe, MCPHD says it will file the matter in court.
