1. A man is facing rape charges after IMPD found him on top of a woman in a downtown parking garage at 327 North Illinois Street. A caller reported seeing a man pull a woman in a headlock into a parking garage elevator. When police arrived, they found Marcus Carter on top of a woman who had her bare legs closed and toward the ground. Carter is facing charges of rape, confinement, kidnapping, sexual battery, and battery resulting in bodily injury. (Fox 59)
2. The Indiana Pacers and Indy Now surprised a nonprofit, The Christmas Experience, with a truck full of toys for the hundreds of families they serve. The Indy-based organization’s goal is to offer a "hand up" rather than a handout.
