Here are the top three stories today in Indianapolis:
- Indy homebuyers should check out this week's real estate roundup. Browse available homes in the area, such as a 4,842 sq. ft. home in Zionsville, or a four-bedroom, two-bathroom home in Camby. Also listed is a two-bedroom, one-bathroom home in Beech Grove, which will be holding an open house on Apr. 3. (Indianapolis Patch)
- Downtown Olly's was voted as the LGBTQ Venue of the Year at the 2022 Bar and Restaurant Expo. Adam Goble, the venue's general manager, said in a statement, "Indianapolisβs SOGI community has thrived because we have a strong community of venues that have given us safe spaces to find our true selves." The bar has been invited to the 2023 expo for winning, along with an opportunity to become part of the judging panel. (WISH TV Indianapolis, IN)
- On Monday, Indianapolis broke ground on $6.73 million in improvements to the Broad Ripple area. Projects over the coming months will include new large-diameter storm pipes, manholes, and curb inlets, as well as street repaving, rehabilitation of sidewalks, and a new trail. Broad Ripple, Carrollton, Guilford, and Winthrop Avenues can expect to see stormwater improvements as well. (WTHR)
