Here are the top three stories in Indianapolis today:

  1. The Indiana State Police's Twitter account was hacked on Saturday afternoon, leading to a series of unusual tweets. By 3:00 p.m. that day, at least of the hacked posts was deleted: a post from ISP's account reading, "I don't like that that was poo poo head I don't like that" in response to a Wall Street Journal article on actor Sean Penn. As of 3:50 p.m. that day, the account is back under the ISP's control; it is not yet clear who hacked the account or how it happened. (FOX 59 Indianapolis)
  2. An Indianapolis couple has been missing in the Nevada desert for a week, and authorities and rescue teams have begun their search. Family members of Ronnie and Beverly Barker said the couple was on an RV trip when they disappeared; they were last reported seen at a Nevada gas station on Mar. 27, with all traces of their mobile devices vanishing later that night. The search and rescue operation started on Apr. 2, though neither the couple nor their RV has been located. (WTHR)
  3. Amid record-high fuel prices, an Indianapolis church got some major traffic after giving away gasoline. Kingdom Apostolic Ministries helped pump gas for hundreds of drivers on Saturday morning, with the line stretching down the road. Though the initiative was meant as a "quiet act of kindness," word of the generous offer quickly spread, bringing smiles to the faces of many. (WTHR)
