- Juicy Seafood has expanded to the east side of Indianapolis. The popular central Indiana restaurant, which has other locations at 86th Street, in Castleton and Beech Grove, recently opened its fourth location off Pendleton Pike. The new restaurant features a full bar, making it a great place to watch a game. (Fox 59)
- A group of students are honoring their classmate who died in Sept. while walking home from school after she was hit by a car. 7-year-old Hannah Crutchfield's classmates at George Julian School 57 want to remember her by updating their school playground to make it more fun and cheerful in her honor. Students are seeking donations to help fund the playground makeover. (WISHTV.com)
- The cast of Netflix's hit show "Cheer" is coming to Indianapolis to perform their championship routines. The CHEER LIVE 2022 Tour will be headed to Indy on June 29 and will take place at the TCU Amphitheater at White River State Park. Routines from Navarro College and Trinity Valley Community College will be performed at the show, with never-before-seen stunts and stage performances that will have fans on the edge of their seats. - Itβs been a busy two weeks for the Indianapolis Fire Department Recruit Class 87 as they transition out of the classroom and onto the training pad. Braving the two-degree temperature, the recruits are learning basic basics such as donning and doffing gear, navigating a confined space, throwing ladders, and gaining some SCBA confidence.
