- The Indianapolis Fire Department will be taking over the Beech Grove Fire Department. In a decision made on Monday night, the City-County Council unanimously approved an agreement between the two fire departments. The takeover will begin on Dec. 25. (WIBC - Indianapolis News & Politics)
- A Meridian Hills apartment complex sold for the first time in its 55-year history, fetching $26.5M. Meridian Hills North, near the intersection of West 64th Street and Hoover Road, was acquired on Sept. 8 by Covenant Capital Group. The previous owners, the Mordoh family, began developing the complex in 1966 and added to it in three later phases.(Indianapolis Business Journal)
- Amazon is looking to hire 3,000 people at its new delivery station in Indianapolis. (WFYI)
