Here are the top 3 stories in Indianapolis today:
- The City of Indianapolis is reminding residents that they can use the RequestIndy mobile app to report potholes. The potholes will be temporarily repaired using cold-mix asphalt due to the cold weather. The pouring of hot-mix asphalt that would permanently repair the damage will be utilized as the weather warms up. So far, the Indianapolis Department of Public Works has reportedly filled more than 20,000 potholes this year. (WISHTV.com)
- The Indianapolis Police Department reports that two people were injured in a stabbing on the east side of the city. Police responded to a reported stabbing at the 6200 block of East Washington Street on Wednesday morning. Two individuals suffered injuries and were taken to a local hospital in stable condition. (Fox 59)
- The Children's Museum of Indianapolis announced that the popular Dinosphere exhibit will return. The exhibit will showcase land and water-dwelling dinosaurs from the Mesozoic and Jurassic eras. The specimens that will be on display are from a dig site at the Big Horn Basin in Wyoming that the museum has been overseeing. (IndyStar)
