π± RecycleForce Receives Federal Grant + Death Ruled Homicide

Here are the top three stories in Indianapolis today:
- RecycleForce, an Indianapolis electronics recycler, will receive a $200,000 federal grant from the EPA to train people to work with hazardous waste. The nonprofit helps people recently released from incarceration obtain the necessary training and certification to perform various jobs in the field. According to RecycleForce officials, the grant will help them train 40 more individuals to safely handle e-waste, including computers and televisions, as well as other hazardous materials. - According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, the death of a woman found in a house on the near northwest side of the city has been ruled a homicide. When officers arrived on the scene, they found a woman whose injuries were "consistent with trauma" and she was pronounced dead at the scene. Anyone with information about the case is asked to contact Detective Ryan Clark at 317-327-3475 or Ryan.Clark@indy.gov. Anonymous tips can be provided through Crime Stoppers of Central Indiana at 317-262-8477 or (TIPS). (WTHR)
- The High Art Billboard Project is once again featuring the talents of central Indiana-based artists. Each year, the Arts Council of Indiana selects ten works to rotate throughout billboards in Marion County and the surrounding areas. Voting for the People's Choice Award closed yesterday; the winner will be announced later today. (WISHTV.com)
