Shalom Lawson, Boy Missing In Brownsburg, Found Deceased
The 8-year-old boy went missing Friday and was found in a pond near the home where he went missing.

BROWNSBURG, IN β Authorities in Brownsburg recovered the body of an 8-year-old boy who was last seen on Friday.
Shalom Lawson was last seen on Watercress Way in the area of 900E and US 136, police said. At the time, he was wearing a gray shirt and red and black graphic shorts. Police told residents to call 911 immediately if they saw the boy who they said was autistic and might not communicate.
Police in Brownsburg posted about the missing boy several times on their Facebook page, urging anyone who lives in the area near where Lawson was last seen to check their homes, buildings, outbuildings, cars and garages for the boy. Police also announced that they would be organizing volunteer search teams to help locate the child.

On Saturday, police said the search had been called off.
Michael Pruitt, public information officer for Wayne Township fire department, tweeted Saturday that Lawson was found in a pond near the home he went missing from.

The IndyStar reports Lawson, who is from Louisville, Kentucky, was visiting relatives in Brownsburg along with other family members when he went missing Friday.
