- Indianapolis police are investigating a shooting that left one person dead on the northeast side. Officers responded to a report of a person shot in the area of East 30th Street and Caroline Avenue just after 8 p.m. Authorities say they found a man who had been shot and was pronounced dead at the scene. (FOX 59 Indianapolis)
- An Indianapolis man has been found guilty for the 2016 murder and robbery of a man in his northwest-side apartment. A Marion County jury on Tuesday declared Gerald Tyree guilty of murder, felony murder, robbery resulting in serious bodily injury, and carrying a handgun without a license after a two-day trial. Tyree was one of two men that were arrested in connection with the shooting death of 25-year-old Eric Ballard in his apartment. (IndyStar)
