Squared Circle Expo V Returns 4/25-26
SCX is the best wrestling convention I attend every year. On April 25-26, I will be there for SCX V, which promises to be the best yet.

Squared Circle Expo V is just under five months away. SCX V promises to be the best one yet.
Held April 25-26 at Wyndham Indianapolis West in Indianapolis, SCX is billed as “The Midwest's Premiere Wrestling Convention,” a claim I completely support. Actually, I might eliminate “midwest” from that statement. I don't know of any better wrestling convention anywhere.

SCX is a two-day event featuring a huge wrestler guest lineup, panels, Q&As, photo ops, vendors, wrestling matches and more. All of this happens on-site at the Wyndham.

The wrestling guest lineup usually numbers around 60 and is as much quality as it is quantity. So far, the following legends have been announced, including stars from WWF/WWE, AEW, TNA and NWA. The list includes:
- Allie
- Ash By Elegance
- Bobby Lashley
- Gerald Brisco
- Gillberg
- Harvey Whippleman
- Heath
- Jacqueline Moore
- John Layfield
- Kurt Angle
- Layla El
- Mick Foley
- Mike O'Malley
- MVP
- Orange Cassidy
- Prince Nana
- Real1
- Shelton Benjamin
- Swerve Strickland
- Tito Santana
- Victoria
As my friends and I await announcements, we analyze the list. It seems each of us has different top names. I am really looking forward to meeting Jacqueline Moore, wrestler, manager and WWE Hall of Famer. A modern woman pioneer, Moore is one of the first women I remember from her time in World Class Championship Wrestling. Perhaps ahead of her time, Jacqueline is an underrated star of the past.

Every wrestler on the list comes with an impressive resume. I have met several of the legends a few times, but look forward to seeing them again. Every time I see Mick Foley, it's a fun new experience. Over the past four SCX events, I have met more than 200 legends and stars and have yet to have one even mildly disappointing experiences. Good encounters motivate me to return to old favorites.

The pleasurable experiences with the wrestlers and all else start with SCX promoters. Adolfo, Ed, Carrie and Heather. I am sure the fantastic four make their expectations known to the wrestlers they bring in. Unlike other conventions, wrestlers are at their tables the entire time, except for panels etc.

Much like these meet-and-greets, the rest of the convention is equally well-organized. From the check-in to the Saturday after-party, SCX are very hands-on and ready to smooth out any potential issues and to make sure all have a great time. Actually, it starts with the first announcement. SCX promoters are very clear and forthcoming with all info.

SCX officially ends with a full night of wrestling action. SCX Heavyweight champ Nic Nemeth, Tag Team champs The New Rockers (Al Snow and Kal Herro) and Women's champ Freya the Slayer will defend their titles. There will also be several other top notch matches. I have always said this card could match any card anywhere.

I picked seven of my favorite pictures from previous SCX events. Imagine a wrestler lineup like these and multiply it by eight or so.
I have already made my reservations. This will be my fifth SCX. Prior to the debut, I had high hopes for SCX and they surpassed all and kept improving.
It's 144 days away and I can't wait. Look for my updates here as SCX promoters make announcements.
