Suspect Wanted In Indianapolis Carjacking, Robbery: IMPD
Police said the victim's car was located the next morning with the engine still running. Here's the man police said they're looking for.

INDIANAPOLIS, IN β The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department said officers were dispatched at 9:50 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2018 to the 1200 block of Indiana Avenue for a robbery. Police said as they were arriving to the scene while driving south on Montcalm street and passing 14th street, they saw a white male sitting on the east side walk of Montcalm Street. Police said the man was later identified as Alexander Butler, who had a large bump on the left side of his forehead and small cuts on his left hand, leading officers to call for a medic to check him out.
According to IMPD, Butler told officers he was walking south on the east side of Montcalm after parking his car in a small lot on the southwest corner of 14th and Montcalm, when he heard the keys and foot steps of a person quickly approaching behind him. That's when, according to Butler, he was hit from behind and only remembered being hit in the head, in addition to the suspect demanding "everything he had," IMPD said.
