Here are the top three stories in Indianapolis today:

  1. Police are looking for suspects who unsuccessfully attempted to steal ATMs from two separate banks with a stolen truck early Thursday. Just before 3:30 a.m., a truck with chains attached attempted to steal an ATM at a Regions bank on W. 71st Street, and then tried again at a Huntington bank in the 6700 block of Rockville Road, according to police. After the failed attempts, two male suspects dressed in black abandoned the truck, which had been reported stolen last week to IMPD’s southeast district. (Fox59)
  2. An Indianapolis family is asking the public for help in finding a missing loved one who they haven't seen since Jan. 30. 33-year-old Paris Williamson was reported missing Friday after she did not show up to work all week. On Wednesday, Williamson’s car, which had been missing, was spotted traveling southbound at Emerson Avenue and County Line Road. (WISH-TV)
  3. An Indianapolis veteran has created a new trivia board game that celebrates Black culture and historical achievements from American sociologists, historians, civil rights activists, musicians, and entertainers. The idea came to light after 24-year-old Jamaal Nelson read β€œThe New Jim Crow: Mass Incarceration in the Age of Colorblindness” by Michelle Alexander while in the U.S. military. The board game, which is fun for all ages, is available at the Ujamaa Community Bookstore and a digital version could be launched as early as next month. (WISH-TV)
