Here are the top stories today in Indianapolis:
- One person is in serious condition after a shooting on Indianapolis' west side Thursday morning. Shortly before 5:15 a.m., IMPD officers responded to the 1200 block of Ingomar Street, near West Washington Street and South Lynhurst Drive, on a report of a person shot. Officers arrived on scene and found a person with a gunshot wound. (WTHR)
- Indiana State Police arrested a man Wednesday after finding over three pounds of meth in his vehicle. Troopers were patrolling along I-69 in Greene County as part of the High-Intensity Drug Trafficking Area Federal Project when they observed a 2014 Hyundai Sonata traveling southbound on I-69, near the 97-mile marker, going 88 MPH in a 70 MPH zone. They then conducted a traffic stop. (985theriver.com)
