Here are the top three stories in Indianapolis today:

  1. A local family has created a mobile bar that brings the party to you. The Wine Trough was created using an old paragliding trailer and can be towed into customers' backyards. The family is focusing on bringing the mobile bar to weddings, concerts, and corporate events. (FOX 59 Indianapolis)
  2. Indianapolis will receive $9.4 million for its efforts to fight homelessness. The funding will come from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development for efforts that prioritize stable housing, followed by supportive services. Mayor Joe Hogsett said of the funding, "By leveraging these dollars, American Rescue Plan resources, and the Indianapolis Community Plan to End Homelessness, we’re accelerating our goal of ending the homelessness crisis." (WANE)
  3. A customer at a local gas station paid it forward at the pump amid high gas prices. Debbie Scott was at a Kroger gas station in Indianapolis when a stranger walked up to her and told her he was going to pay for her gas β€” a $65 fill-up. The kind man, named Greg, filled up her tank and another customer's tank, then got in his car and drove away. (WTHR)
