Lafayette, IN (July 30, 2025)- Junior Achievement serving Greater Lafayette is a recent recipient of a $5,000 grant from Horizon Bank to provide funding for JA in a Day at Mintonye Elementary School, that students recently participated in before the end of the school year. A check presentation took place at the Huntington Bank brank on Monday, July 28th.
This grant is specific to JA in a Day that took place in the spring at Mintonye Elementary School. We reached 22 classrooms in grades K-5th and served over 442 students! Learning a variety of concepts, however, each grade focused on our 3 pillars: financial literacy, work readiness and entrepreneurship.

The funding we received allows us to continue to offer JA programs to our Greater Lafayette schools at no charge. We are grateful for their continued investment into our organization and inspiring students to become leaders in the classroom and in our community.
