  1. Police are currently searching for two suspects following the stabbing of a West Lafayette man. According to the Tippecanoe County Sheriff's Office reports, the victim was in an argument with two men, one of whom stabbed him. The suspects fled the scene, and the victim was transported in a personal vehicle to the Franciscan Hospital Emergency Room where he was treated for lacerations to his head and arms. The investigation is ongoing, and the Sheriff's Office has not released any information about the suspects at this time. (wlfi.com)
  2. Up the road in Battle Ground, the Farm at Prophetstown announced a fundraising event scheduled next month to support the restoration of an early 20th century historic barn on the property. The event, "fundRAISE the Barn," will take place on Sep. 23 and will feature music, square dancing, food, a bounce house for kids, and a silent auction. (wlfi.com)
  3. The fall session of Homeschool Academy is now open, featuring a four-week program at the Zoo designed for homeschool students ages 6-8 years and 9-12 years. Sessions include a mix of classroom-based and outside-the-classroom activities, which provide opportunities for collaboration and socialization while building important science inquiry skills.
