  1. Purdue University is reducing speed limits around its West Lafayette campus to enhance safety for pedestrians. The speed limit reductions will be implemented by August in several areas surrounding the campus. With a campus population of 60,000 during the academic year, pedestrian safety is a top priority, and lower vehicle speeds are expected to reduce the risk of severe injuries or fatalities in case of accidents. The West Lafayette Traffic Commission has approved the reduced speed limits that are being installed in the designated areas. (WRTV)
  2. On Aug. 4 Greater Lafayette Commerce will be hosting "Rise & Shine," a networking breakfast event at The River City Community Center. Interested in attending? You can register here to secure a spot. (Greater Lafayette Commerce via Facebook)
  3. Between May 31 and Jul. 20, several children have gone missing in Indiana. If anyone has information about the whereabouts of these missing children, they are urged to contact the local police in their respective hometowns or reach out to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children at 1-800-843-5678 (1-800-THE-LOST).
