DNR: Thousands of Gallons of Wastewater Discharged Improperly at Iowa City Mobile Home Court

A wastewater discharge occurred Saturday in the 800 block of Spring Ridge Drive at the Modern Manor Mobile Home Court in Iowa City.
Between 20,000 and 30,000 gallons of untreated wastewater flowed to an unnamed tributary of Snyder Creek after workers damaged a pumping station while cleaning it.
The wastewater discharge began about 5 p.m. and ended shortly after the wastewater operator learned of the discharge.
