According to the National Weather Service in the Quad Cities forecast, this week in Iowa City should feature mild, sunny weather with temperatures venturing into the low 80s by Thursday and Friday before curving back down into the 70s by the end of the week with a chance for rain.

- Tuesday Mostly sunny, with a high near 74. Southeast wind 5 to 10 mph.
- Tuesday Night Partly cloudy, with a low around 51.
- Wednesday Sunny, with a high near 77.
- Wednesday Night Mostly clear, with a low around 52.
- Thursday Sunny, with a high near 80.
- Thursday Night Mostly clear, with a low around 60.
- Friday Sunny, with a high near 82.
- Friday Night A slight chance of showers. Partly cloudy, with a low around 62.
- Saturday A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 74.
