Iowa City Recreation Centers Return To Regular Hours

Registration for fall classes, programs, and events begins at 7 a.m. on August 17, 2021.

Iowa City Parks and Recreation will return to regular full-time hours on Monday, Aug. 2, 2021.

Hours of Operation

  • Monday - Friday 6:15 a.m. to 9 p.m.
  • Saturdays 6:15 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Sundays 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Patrons can access pool hours by visiting icgov.org/Pools. The pool at Robert A. Lee Community Recreation Center is expected to reopen in late August 2021.

Registration for fall classes, programs, and events begins at 7 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 17, 2021. Patrons can register in-person at either Robert A. Lee Community Recreation Center, 220 S. Gilbert St. or Mercer Park Aquatic Center and Scanlon Gym, 2701 Bradford Dr., or over the phone by calling customer service during regular business hours at 319-356-5100, or online.
