It's Double Feature Night at the Free Outdoor Movie Series: Iowa City Weekend Planner
ALSO: The Ramblers roll into Friday night concert series, Iowa City Farmers Market is in prime form, and the Blue Brothers Revue comes to the Englert stage.

The weather for the weekend looks pretty good, with a slight chance for thunderstorms on Friday giving way to partly cloud skies and mild temperatures on the weekend.
1. Friday Night Concert Series:Â The Ramblers
On the Pedestrian Plaza at the Weatherdance Fountain Stage outside of the Sheraton Iowa City Hotel. Concerts run from 6:30 – 9:30 p.m. More info at the Summer of the Arts page.
The Friday night concert series rambles on with a performance by the Cedar Valley group "The Ramblers."
The Ramblers were formed in the Cedar Valley in 2008, but individually Scott Gallagher, Denny McCabe, Bob Smith and Ed Narigon have all been part of the local music scene for many years. Their song list rambles all over the musical map. They play an eclectic, electric blend of swampy, roots-influenced Americana and uncovered oldies are mixed in with some familiar tunes that have been given a folky spin by Bob’s banjo and mandolin.
It's prime produce buying time and Iowa City has plenty to offer at its big blowout Saturday markets. Here is the time and location. Also here's a map of available vendors: 2013 Iowa City Farmers Market - Saturdays

From the Englert page, featuring Wayne Catania and Kieron Lafferty as Jake and Elwood, recreates the live concert experience, integrating the humor and songs from the original film and subsequent albums. Produced by Judy Belushi Pisano and Dan Aykroyd, the Revue pays homage to Chicago's rich history of blues, soul music and gospel in the true spirit of the original Blues Brothers. Under the musical direction of Paul Shaffer, Jake, Elwood and the high-energy eight-piece Intercontinental Rhythm & Blues Revue Band lay down a big sound, performed with the passion and precision of the original Blues Brothers. Fun for all ages, The Official Blues Brothers Revue strikes the right balance of humor, music and mayhem.
