REMINDER TO ALL DOWNTOWN IOWA CITY BUSINESSES: 
Beginning July 1, Iowa City businesses, decreased their to sales tax collection from the 7% to 6%. The special sales tax which helped raise more than $34 million for flood mitigation projects during its duration has now expired. 
All businesses, please make sure this change has been made in your systems.

Iowa City Hiking Club

The hike at the Wickiup Hill Learning Center in Toddville will be this Saturday. For those leaving from Iowa City, please meet at the IHOP in Coralville by 8:00 am so we can leave promptly at 8:10. The address is: 10260 Morris Hills Rd, Toddville, IA 52341. If you don't know how to get there, please utilize Mapquest or a technological device to help you get there. Regardless of where you will be departing from, please meet at the main building located on the grounds. It is about a 40 minute drive from the IHOP, so we should be there around 9:00 at 9:15. 

Breakfast prior to our 8:00 am departure from the IHOP is optional, along with lunch at BBQ This. If you have any questions or concerns, please call or text me at (319) 899-1292, Dale at (319) 331-1943, Martha at (319) 930-0459 or Sue at (319) 400-4434. If you are plan on getting breakfast at the IHOP, please let the group know so if others are interested, they can partake in the fiesta with you. Also, please communicate with the group if you are plan on attending this hike and where you will meet us so we can anticipate you. 

Iowa Women's Basketball

Bethany Doolittle (26 points, 8 rebounds) and Ally Disterhoft (28 points, 12 rebounds) led their team to the Game Time League title tonight! Sam Logic scored 45 points and added 9 rebounds and 8 assists. Nicole Smith posted 9 points and 6 boards.
