Update: Authorities Release Name, Photo of Suspect in Fatal Hit-and-Run Accident
The hit-and-run accident occurred over the weekend and claimed the lives of two North Liberty residents.

The Iowa Department of Public Safety has released a name and photo of the man who they believe was the driver of the Chevy truck that caused a fatal accident near Tiffin on Saturday.

The Iowa Department of Public Safety has released the name and photo of the man officials believe was driving a truck in a double-fatality crash on Saturday near Tiffin.
Officials want to talk to Carlos Benlanga-Cardona, 34, and they believe he lives in the Iowa City/Coralville area.
Authorities are asking Benlanga-Cardona, or anyone who might know how to reach him, to contact the Johnson County Joint Emergency Communication Center at 319-356-6800.

The Iowa State Patrol is still searching for the driver who they believe fled the scene after he or she caused a fatal accident east of Tiffin Saturday night.
An Iowa State Patrol crash report indicates that around 7:00 p.m. on Saturday the driver of a 1995 Chevrolet K2500 Pickup was traveling south on Jasper Avenue as a second vehicle, a Nissan Xterra, was driving east on Highway 6. The pickup then reportedly blew through the stop sign at the intersection of Jasper Avenue and Highway 6 and struck the Xterra on the left side of the vehicle.
The driver of the Xterra, Troy Nelson Liddell, 48, of North Liberty was pronounced dead on the scene. Kelly Rae Liddell, 50, of North Liberty, was also pronounced dead. Kelly's husband, Todd Niebel Liddell, 50, of North Liberty, and Troy's wife Martha Ann Liddell, 48, were both injured and transported via ambulance to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
Also receiving treatment was Juan Castillo Moreno, 31, of Iowa City, a passenger in the pickup truck that left him at the scene. He was also transported by ambulance to the UIHC for treatment of injuries.
The driver of the pickup truck fled the scene before authorities could apprehend him or her for questioning.
