Storm Incoming: Torrential Rain and Hail Possible

A thunderstorm has been issued for a portion of northern Johnson County through 8:30 p.m. The storm continues to move south so it should impact all of Johnson County in some fashion.

An unfriendly storm has just crossed into Linn County and is heading south in our direction.

A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued by the National Weather Service in the Quad Cities.

AT 734 PM CDT...SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WERE LOCATED ALONG A LINE EXTENDING FROM DELHI TO ATKINS...AND MOVING EAST AT 40 MPH. HAZARD...

60 MPH WIND GUSTS AND PENNY SIZE HAIL. SOURCE...RADAR INDICATED. IMPACT...EXPECT DAMAGE TO ROOFS...SIDING AND TREES.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... FOR YOUR PROTECTION MOVE TO AN INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR OF A BUILDING.
