The National Weather Service in the Quad Cities predicts the weather in Iowa City this week will continue to be mild, with a chance of rain Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.
Here are the predicted outcomes:
- Monday Mostly sunny, with a high near 74. Calm wind becoming southeast around 5 mph in the afternoon.
- Monday Night A 20 percent chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 61. South wind around 5 mph becoming east after midnight.
- Tuesday A 30 percent chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 76.
- Tuesday Night A 20 percent chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 65.
- Wednesday A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly sunny, with a high near 82.
- Wednesday Night Partly cloudy, with a low around 63.
- Thursday Sunny, with a high near 81.
