Here are the top three stories in Bowling Green today:

  1. Is your bike in not-so-great shape after surviving a long winter? BikeWalk BG is hosting its second annual free clinic to repair your bike for free. The clinic is run by BikeWalk BG volunteers. It will be held at the city's Arbor Day celebration at Kereiakes Park on Saturday, Apr. 15 from 9-11 a.m. There will also be a bike obstacle course for kids and a community ride. (WBKO)
  2. After a decade of service, Jenny Hester will step down as principal at South Warren High School at the end of this school year. The school administration recently announced that Matt Deaton will step in as her replacement. Deaton started working at South Warren in 2011 as a social studies teacher. He's served as the assistant principal and dean of students at South Warren High, in addition to his service as the principal at South Warren Middle School. (WBKO)
  3. A U-Haul dealer is moving into the former Lost River Storage LLC facility in Bowling Green. This move not only creates more jobs in the area but helps address the lack of long-term storage solutions in the area, something residents have requested time and time again. There will be 673 self-storage units and access to truck and trailer sharing, moving supplies and boxes and more. (PR Newswire)
