  1. Bowling Green was thankfully spared from the weekend's tornado. With the intense storms over the weekend, it's a relief that we weren't in the path of a devastating tornado over the weekend. Unfortunately, Friday night’s tornado outbreak left 21 people dead across the midwest and midsouth. (BG Daily News)
  2. Mint Gaming Hall is poised to take advantage of a new bill that legalizes sports betting in Kentucky. Representatives from the hall say they’re getting right to work, incorporating the opportunity to offer both race and sportsbooks and aiming to keep residents from Tennessee-bordering counties in the commonwealth come football season. 3. St. Teresa’s Thrift Store has found a new home. Displaced from the current location because of 2021 tornado damage, St. Teresa’s Thrift Store will soon occupy a new home at the Fairview Plaza Shopping Center. While there isn't a concrete open date for the new location, employees are hoping for a late May/early June date. (WBKO)
