Three arrested in connection to robbery investigation (wsiltv.com) — Paducah police have arrested three suspects, including a Paducah man, in connection with a late-November robbery on Cairo Road where a victim was assaulted and had a phone stolen. Detectives say the trio was identified after allegedly fleeing in a white car, and all are now facing robbery-related charges at McCracken County Jail.
   

2. No foul play suspected after human remains found in Paducah - KBSI FOX23 News Cape Girardeau News (kbsi23.com) — Human remains discovered in a wooded area off Tennessee Street in Paducah have been ruled not the result of foul play, but authorities still don’t know who the person is. Paducah Police and the McCracken County Coroner say identification could take time due to decomposition and are asking anyone with information to contact police or CrimeStoppers, with rewards possible for helpful tips.
   

3. Step forward in releasing federal restrictions on local club (wpsdlocal6.com) — Federal legislation has cleared the U.S. House to remove a National Park Service restriction on the City of Paducah’s Park Avenue property used by the Oscar Cross Boys & Girls Club. If the Senate and president agree, the land could transfer to the club, unlocking fundraising and construction of new classrooms and a gym to serve kids now stuck on a waiting list.
   

4. City Commission proposes new safety inspection standards for single family rentals (wpsdlocal6.com) — Paducah’s city commission is considering new annual safety inspections and fees for single-family rentals and duplexes, aiming to ensure basic fire, electrical, and building standards while landlords question added costs. Commissioners also sharply increased taxes on abandoned urban properties and revamped Southside housing incentives with sizable homeowner and developer grants, and they formally appointed Audra Kyle as the city’s finance director.
   

5. Driver arrested, juvenile wanted after overnight pursuit in Graves County - KBSI FOX23 News Cape Girardeau News (kbsi23.com) — A 22-year-old Paducah man was arrested after deputies say he led a 100-mph overnight pursuit from Graves County into Carlisle County, with drugs allegedly tossed from the car and a wanted juvenile passenger fleeing on foot. The driver now faces multiple charges and was taken to McCracken County Regional Jail, while additional charges are pending for the juvenile.
