Police Officer, Deputy During Chase (officer.com) — Paducah residents are learning more about a dangerous November police chase where a Paducah Police Department cruiser was hit by gunfire and an officer narrowly avoided being shot. The pursuit began after a deputy tried to stop a reckless pickup in Paducah, continued through McCracken County, and ended with the suspect crashing on Lone Oak Road and later dying from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
   

2.
