Area businesses have new 'one-stop' hub for workforce development with The Leadership Center, WKCTC partnership (wkms.org) — Paducah businesses now have a new “one-stop” hub for leadership and workforce training thanks to a partnership between The Leadership Center in Paducah and WKCTC’s Workforce Solutions. The program, run through the Paducah Area Chamber, aims to prepare current workers for upcoming leadership vacancies and offers customized training, community leadership programs, and professional development without leaving West Kentucky.

Mayor George Bray proud of MyPaducah success, aims for increased downloads (wpsdlocal6.com) — Paducah residents now have an easier way to report problems like potholes, dead animals, and trash issues through the city’s new MyPaducah app. With about 1,000 downloads and 450 service requests so far, Mayor George Bray hopes more locals will use the free tool to submit issues and receive city alerts and service updates.
   

3. Paducah mechanics share winter car preparation tips for safety (wpsdlocal6.com) — Paducah drivers are getting practical cold-weather advice from a local mechanic on how to protect their cars and stay safe this winter. From warming up your engine and adjusting tire pressure to de-icing windshields safely and packing emergency supplies, these tips are tailored for the frigid conditions you’ll face on regional roads in the coming weeks.
   

4. Paducah junior golf committee putts in the work, supports nonprofits (wpsdlocal6.com) — Paducah’s junior golf committee turned a summer AJGA tournament into a win for the community, raising funds that support both next year’s event and local nonprofits. This week they handed United Way of Western Kentucky a $14,746 check, with the Oscar Cross Boys and Girls Club also benefiting from the Paducah-hosted tournament’s success.
