1. No foul play in Paducah death investigation; remains unidentified (wsiltv.com) — Paducah police are still working to identify human remains found December 4 in a wooded area near the 1300 block of Tennessee Street, though the medical examiner says no foul play is suspected. Investigators warn the process may take time and are asking anyone with information to contact Paducah Police or submit anonymous tips through CrimeStoppers.
   

2. House Passes Bill to Remove Federal Restrictions on Paducah Property (marshallcountydaily.com) — Federal lawmakers have taken a key step toward freeing up Paducah property so the Oscar Cross Boys and Girls Club can renovate its longtime youth facility. The U.S. House voted to remove an old National Park Service restriction, after work by Rep. James Comer and city officials, and the bill now heads to the Senate.
   

3. Paducah police cruiser struck by gunfire during pursuit (kbsi23.com) — A Paducah police cruiser was struck by gunfire during a November 7 pursuit near the city limits on Lone Oak Road, but the officer was not hurt. McCracken County deputies, Paducah Police, and Kentucky State Police coordinated the response, and state investigators are now handling the case while local officials say deputies followed policy and training.
   

4. West Kentucky Wildlife Management Area begins accessibility expansion, faces land closure (wpsdlocal6.com) — If you hunt or recreate at West Kentucky Wildlife Management Area near Paducah, you’ll soon see big changes. Mobility-impaired access has expanded to more than 3,600 acres, but nearly 700 DOE-owned acres near the Paducah Gaseous Diffusion Plant are being permanently closed to public use, with all stands and blinds needing removal by February 1, 2026.
   

5.
