Western Kentucky University Student Activities Hosts Multicultural Retreat

The 2022 Multicultural Retreat, sponsored by the WKU Student Activities office, was held Saturday (Feb. 26) at the Augenstein Alumni Center. Students engaged in conversations around identity, culture and experiences related to multiculturalism at WKU. In the afternoon, students also got to experience demonstrations on Indian culture, Bachata dancing and Korean pop culture. Between participants and presenters, 57 WKU students attended the retreat. The end of the day was wrapped up by linking together goals and intentions on a chain that students want to carry with them outside of the retreat. (More photos from the retreat)
