Caddo Parish: PBS Pinchback Park To Close For Improvements March 1

Caddo Parish, LA – Beginning Tuesday, March 1, P.B.S. Pinchback Park, located at 7903 Jefferson Paige Rd, Shreveport, LA 71119, will be closed for the first phase in a series of upgrades and park improvements.    “We are excited about the continuation of renovations and upgrades across our Parish park system,” said Caddo Parks and Recreation Director Patrick Wesley.  “These improvements allow the Parish to continue to provide quality recreational opportunities and the ability to enjoy our Parish’s natural assets in a clean, safe and comfortable environment,” said Wesley.   Park improvements include:   -widening of the park’s walking trail;  -new playground shade structures; -installation of a new junior basketball court and new basketball goals; -new park benches and bleachers; and -new park signage   Completion is scheduled to be complete by early June.
