Guest attacked outside of downtown Shreveport casino; attacker stabbed (ksla.com) — Emergency crews rushed to Bally’s Casino in downtown Shreveport after a guest reportedly defended himself from an attacker and stabbed that person outside the building Monday night. Police say the injured individual was taken to the hospital with life-threatening wounds, and authorities are still gathering details about what led up to the confrontation.
   

5. Saints game, sipping champagne: 50 Cent lives his best life in Louisiana ahead of Christmas (nola.com) — 50 Cent’s growing footprint in downtown Shreveport continues, with multimillion‑dollar property purchases and plans for a G‑Unit entertainment hub that he says will eventually make the city his home.
