Greater Shreveport Chamber: Maxim Watermakers Awarded Contracts For FFG - U.S. Navy

Company officials announced today that Maxim Watermakers has been awarded a contract for the supply of the Seawater Reverse Osmosis Systems and the High Purity Reverse Osmosis Unit and a separate contract for the supply of the Electronic Cooling Water Demineralizer Assemblies for the Constellation-Class Frigates.

Brian Hebert, President of Maxim Watermakers, said “Maxim is committed to the U.S. Navy and our shipyard partner, Fincantieri Marinette Marine. We are honored to have this opportunity to serve the United States Navy as an equipment manufacturer for another class of Navy ships.”

Maxim specializes in the manufacture of water purification equipment utilizing a broad range of water treatment technologies.

Maxim designs and manufactures fresh water generators, including distilling plants, seawater reverse osmosis systems, and high purity reverse osmosis units. Other water treatment & water handling equipment includes water disinfection, filtration, systems to cool, purify and circulate water for electronics cooling, heat exchangers, custom piping assemblies, etc. Maxim Watermakers is able to custom engineer water treatment systems to meet the size and other technical requirements based on a client’s specific needs.
