The credentials for recipients include women who have shown a commitment to philanthropy by helping children, the elderly, those in need, the arts, business development, education, or other acts of caring through un-paid positions.

New for 2022 is the addition of the Virginia K. Shehee Most Influential Young Woman award that will be given to a female, high-school junior or senior whose leadership, poise, and determination are demonstrated through meaningful acts of philanthropy for her fellow students or her community.

Nominations will be accepted through February 10, 2022. To review criteria and nominate someone, please visit https://www.laholyangels.org/events/most-influential-women/.

Patrons can support the event by purchasing individual tickets for $75 and table sponsorships for $1,000, which include luncheon tickets for eight, recognition in the program and a flower arrangement in a special container made by Holy Angels’ residents. This is the sixth year of this Northwest Louisiana honor, and proceeds will benefit Holy Angels, an independent, nonprofit organization serving approximately 185 individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
