Online car sale scam resurfaces in Caddo Parish, authorities warn (ktbs.com) — Shreveport-area residents are being warned about a recurring online car-sale scam using the fake business name Horizon Car Sales and a bogus address at the Port of Shreveport-Bossier. Authorities say scammers post classic cars at unrealistically low prices, then instruct buyers to wire money for vehicles that never arrive. Residents are urged to stay skeptical and verify any online seller before paying.

2. Missing elderly Shreveport man with memory issues found in Caddo Correctional (ksla.com) — Shreveport Police say a 73-year-old man with memory issues who was reported missing has been safely located at Caddo Correctional Center. Officers had asked the public for help after he disappeared from Lawhon Street on Dec. 8, stressing concern for his well-being because he struggles to recognize his surroundings or seek assistance.
3. PAWS TO CARE: Meet Layla, a Pomsky looking for her forever home (ktbs.com) — Shreveport viewers were introduced to Layla, a one-year-old Pomsky who charmed the latest Paws to Care segment and is ready for adoption. Though she’s housed at Marshall Pet Adoption Center, local families can apply in person and even try an adoption trial to see if this playful “solo queen” fits their home.
4. Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office thanks dedicated deputies for serving Christmas day (ksla.com) — Caddo Parish deputies spent Christmas Day on duty in Shreveport, patrolling neighborhoods, responding to calls, and keeping residents safe while many families gathered at home.
