Teen Stabbed In Edgewood Monday

Harford County police announced a 17-year-old male was stabbed Monday evening.

UPDATE (May 1, 9:13 a.m.)—A 17-year-old male from White Marsh is in stable condition after he was stabbed in Edgewood Monday night.

The bleeding teen, who had been stabbed multiple times in the upper torso, waved down a Harford County Sheriff's Office deputy near the intersection of Woodbridge Center Way and Acord Ridge Court, police said in a news release Monday night.

The victim said he was visiting a friend when several unidentified subjects jumped him in the 1300 block of Apple Ridge Court, according to the release.

The Joppa-Magnolia Fire Company transported the teen to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, where he is in stable condition.

The victim is from White Marsh, according to Harford County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Monica Worrell.
