2 Cases Of Police Impersonators Involved Impaired Suspects, Anne Arundel Police Say
Two police impersonation suspects were arrested in Anne Arundel County, officers said. The cases involved intoxication and public urination.

ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MD — Authorities said they arrested two police impersonation suspects Monday in Anne Arundel County.
Officers said the two cases are not related.
Authorities identified the arrestees as 32-year-old Crystal Nicole Barnhouse of Glen Burnie and 64-year-old Glenn Anthony Atkins of Annapolis.

Pasadena Arrest
The Anne Arundel County Police Department said Barnhouse was arrested around 10 p.m. at a Pasadena Shell gas station, located at 103 Mountain Road.
Officers said they got a call for somebody asking for illegal drugs from employees.

The responding officer said they found the suspect sitting in her gray Honda Civic sedan with the engine running in front of the store.
The officer said they saw a white powdery substance and a straw on the center console.
The officer also said they noticed signs of impairment from the suspect and asked her to exit the car.
The occupant refused and claimed to be an undercover detective, a press release said.
The release said the woman was unable to give any information or credentials, refused the officer's commands and struggled while the officer tried to arrest her.
Authorities said they found a small amount of suspected cocaine and paraphernalia in her car.
Court records show that she faces these seven charges, which are all misdemeanors:
- Impersonating a police officer
- Resisting/interfering with arrest
- Disorderly conduct
- Controlled Dangerous Substances: Possession of paraphernalia
- Controlled Dangerous Substances: Possession- not cannabis
- Intoxicated public disturbance
- Obstructing and hindering
Barnhouse's bail review is scheduled for Wednesday at 1:30 p.m., the records say.
Annapolis Arrest
Police said Atkins was arrested in Annapolis outside the Anne Arundel Medical Center.
Officers said they got a call around 5 p.m. for an intoxicated man outside the hospital, located at 2001 Medical Parkway.
Authorities said they found the suspect wearing an FBI hat and a gold badge.
The release said the suspect also told police that he was an agent for the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
The accused man could not give any other information or show any credentials, police said.
Witnesses reported that he also exposed his genitals while urinating near the roadway, officers said.
Court records show that Atkins was charged with these four misdemeanors:
- Impersonating a police officer
- Indecent exposure
- Disorderly conduct
- Intoxicated public disturbance
Atkins was released on his own recognizance, the records say.
