AAMC Kicks Off Hospital Week

The is showing its staff and volunteers some appreciation.

Starting Monday, the center is holding events to commemorate hospital week, according to a news release. In addition to recognizing workers, the week will also mark the hospital's history, diversity and accomplishments. 

The festivities ends on Friday with bike to work day and a picnic featuring traditional and international menu items.

The theme of this year's celebration is "appreciate your friends," the release states. Highlights from the week's program include an employee recognition dinner, a cultural diversity festival and a stress management seminar.

This week also marks the one-year anniversary of the hospital's Energize program, which promotes employee wellness and healthier living.
