Annapolis Children's Chorus To Hold Auditions

The group has three ensembles based on school grade levels.

The All Children's Chorus of Annapolis is holding auditions for its 2012-2013 season.

On June 2 and July 7, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., auditions are open to kids between the ages of 7 and 17 in the Fellowship Hall at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, according to a statement from the group.

The chorus is divided into three ensembles based on school grade levels, according to the statement. Rehearsals are held weekly on Wednesdays after school.

Children will be notified of admission two weeks after the audition.

"We are looking for singers whose voices sound healthy, who have a good sense of pitch, who are focused and pay attention in their audition and who are willing to commit wholeheartedly to the group," reads a statement on the chorus website.

The chorus has performed at the State House, the Naval Academy and other local and regional venues.
