Annapolis Crime: 22 Vases Stolen From Grave Sites

The  (APD) provided the following information on recent incidents in the city.

Theft from Vehicle: 1900-block West Street, between 3 p.m. April 12 and 3:30 p.m. April 19. Black rubber front and rear floormats were stolen from a vehicle.

Theft from Vehicle: unit block College Avenue, between 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. April 14. A bag containing a laptop and iPod was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Burglary: 1900-block Copeland Street, between noon April 3 and 9 a.m. April 17. Someone forced open the rear door of a basement at a residence. Nothing appears to have been stolen. 

Theft: 1900-block Forest Drive, between noon April 12 and noon April 17. Twenty-two bronze flower vases were stolen from grave sites. The vases are valued at more than $3,500.

Theft from Vehicle: 1000-block Spa Road, between 6:15 p.m. April 12 and 8:30 a.m. April 13. A catalytic converter was stolen from underneath a vehicle.

Theft from Vehicle: 700-block Bay Ridge Avenue, between 10 p.m. April 12 and 11:05 a.m. April 13. A purse was stolen from the front passenger seat of a vehicle.

Theft of Bicycle: unit block, Gilmer Street, at 6:15 p.m. Aprril 14. A neighbor saw a man steal a bike from a residence.

Theft from Vehicle: unit block, Northwest Street, between 2:23 p.m. and 4:41 p.m. April 14. Two juicer machines were stolen from a vehicle.

Theft from Vehicle: St. John's Street near Calvert Street, between 6:30 p.m. and 9:28 p.m. April 14. A laptop was stolen from the front passenger seat of a vehicle.

Theft of Scooter: 1000-block Baywind Drive, between 3 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. April 14. A scooter was stolen from the backyard of a residence.

Theft from Vehicle: 1100-block Primrose Road, between 6 p.m. April 13 and 10:30 a.m. April 15. A catalytic converter was stolen from underneath a vehicle.
