Annapolis Crime: Juvenile Arrested for Auto Theft

The following information was supplied by the Annapolis Police Department. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, the information provided does not indicate a conviction.

The  (APD) provided the following information on recent incidents in the city.

Theft of Registration Plates: 100-block Legion Avenue, between 8 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. April 12. Two Maryland registration plates were stolen from a parked vehicle.

Residential Burglary: 900-block Presidential Street, between April 9 and April 12. A television and game console were stolen from a residence. There were no signs of forced entry.

Assault: 1800-block Copeland Street, at 5:30 p.m. April 9. Four people assaulted a man who was waiting at a bus stop. He was struck in the head with a baton.

Auto Theft: unit-block Victor Parkway, at 9:49 p.m. April 8. A vehicle, with the keys left in the ignition, was stolen from the front of a residence. Officers located the vehicle in the unit-block of Marcs Court. A 16-year-old juvenile was arrested and charged for auto theft and driving without a license. The juvenile was later released to a parent.

Burglary: 600-block Americana Drive, between 11 a.m. March 31 and 4 p.m. April 2. Prescription medication was stolen from a residence.
