Annapolis High Athletic Complex Dedicated to Speaker Michael Busch

The high school's athletic complex was named after Speaker Michael Busch, who has contributed to the school, and whose daughter attends there.

Newly renovated athletic facilities at Annapolis High School were recently dedicated to the House of Delegates Speaker, Michael E. Busch.

Busch's daughter attends the high school in the district he has represented on the House of Delegates since 1987.

"House Speaker Michael E. Busch has made innumerable contributions to Anne Arundel County in both the educational and athletic arenas," according to a press release from the school system.

Busch attended a dedication ceremony Thursday with principal Sue Chittim, Annapolis City Councilwoman Mamie Perkins and other local officials.
