Annapolis High Schooler Juggles 3 Sports While Earning Straight A's
This three-sport athlete is also a star student. The junior from Annapolis maintains a 4.81 GPA while participating in multiple clubs.

ANNAPOLIS, MD —Star Students are found in classrooms, on concert and theater stages and at debate lecterns, and out in the community doing good things to make life better for all of us.
Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize Star Students, and we’re working to tell the stories of these outstanding kids to their neighbors.

Why do you believe the star local student should be recognized?
Emily has been getting straight A’s since elementary school. She currently has a 4.81 GPA and is enrolled in the IB program. She has also taken several AP courses scoring 4’s and 5’s. Emily is a three sport athlete- cross country, hockey, and lacrosse. She is also involved with One Love and FBLA. She has been working at several local restaurants for the past two years.
What's one thing you want everyone to know about the star local student?
Emily is one of the most motivated people I know. She is a kind and beautiful person.
